Let's learn more about the National team of Denmark !!

Few weeks before the start of the first FIFA17 International tournament, we focus on the nations taking part. Today we have the pleasure to learn more about the Denmark National team with Christian who kindly accepted to answer my questions.

I think many players did not have the pleasure to know you, can you introduce yourself: who you are, your experience as player and Manager (both club and national teams)
My name is Christian Helev and I have been the manager of the Danish national team twice back in FIFA 14 and now in FIFA 17. Normally I play for the English club Hampton United and I have been playing Pro Clubs since FIFA 12. In my time I have been playing with many different teams from the top of the international world rank.

When it comes to my experience with the national team it is not much. I have been a part of the national team since FIFA 14 but I have never won anything which it what I attempt to try to do now.

We are very delighted to welcome and discover the National Team of Denmark. How can you describe your team? What is your "game philosophy", what are your strengths and weaknesses? Is there a "star player" in your squad?
The National Team of Denmark will be some sort of an outsider in every tournament we will enter through the year. We cannot compare ourselves with teams like France, England, Spain, Italy and Algeria which are normally some of the best known teams. Since we know our role as team our playing style will be affected by that.

Our strength is our defence. We got a lot of quality defenders whose performances will affect our results. If we can keep a clean sheet, we got at least one point each game but of course we are playing to win and we want to win. Our weakness as team will be our lack of experience. We do not have many players with experience from the top of the world rank which means we will have to be at our best every game to have a chance to win.

I got a lot of players who would think about themselves as star players but they also know we have to perform as a team if we want to be successful through the year.

You saw the FIFA17 Calendar made by FVPA Esport, who is willing to put all the spotlights towards National Teams, thanks to a very dynamic schedule, well organized tournaments such as the FEIC and World cup in June. What's your opinion about that? Are you excited to begin?
FVPA eSport is a new organization we have entered with big excitement for the FIFA 17 schedule. We have been a part of iFVPA for a long time now and we will still enter their tournaments but seeing FVPA eSport taking national teams to a new level and more professional level are more than welcomed in Denmark and in our squad.

We are looking forward to enter FEIC and FEWC and we are looking to compete with the greatest national teams on FIFA.

What are the objectives for Denmark regarding this FVPA esport National Team season? Would you rather consider Denmark as a favorite or an outsider team?
With no doubts we are an outsider team. We do not have fifteen or twenty players with experiences from the top of international world rank like the best teams but we do have about seven or eight players with same experiences who need to take responsibility in the games so we increase our quality as team.

Which FVPA national team is the most powerful according to you?
I do think that is hard to say since all teams are unknown for me. Most of my experience with the national teams are from iFVPA but I would say normally national teams like Italy, Spain, England and France are known for quality players on each position and should always be seen as favorite teams.

We are about to conclude this interview, what should we wish for you and Denmark with regards to this season?
That we will win every game we play against a national team and that FVPA eSport will keep their professional attitude in their actions on FIFA and for the clubs and national teams.

Many thanks and best regards !!
