It's been a while since our last update about the FVPA eSport project and its plan for the future.

Before that, let's have a little flashback. FIFA18 should have been an exciting year thanks to our collaboration with VFO. Unfortunately, like we explained back then, it finally could not be possible. All this upsets us, just like you, but we went through this. To be honnest, we spent a huge amount of time to firstly "reconquer" the community (who was blurry and confused) by explaining the things and gaining back your confidence, to provide like always, well organised competitions so that you can enjoy the game. It is now past and we have to look forward.

From now on, we will apply our ideas by developing our project, like we have planned straight from the begining. When the website was released, back in 2015, we could not really develop it by implementing the features we wished, insofar as we had to first of all make sure the core functionnalities worked, maintain them by fixing the issues. It really was time-consumming, but definitively the only way to keep our tool operationnal, in good shape, to provide efficient tournaments.

This year, we finally found time to sit around a table with the intention of puting on the paper our vision for a new looking FVPA eSport. It's now done and we can't wait to brought it to you.

However, as you can imagine, it takes time, a lot of time keeping in mind that we're volunteers, and so is our developer. We hope to offer this new version as soon as possible, but it's unlikely to be out for the FIFA19 kick off, since it won't be ready and we do not want to rush nor repeat the events from 2015. We really want it to be 100% finished and ready to use before the official release. For all of these reasons, the firsts FIFA19 competitions will take place on the current version of the website.

All that being said, let's now unveil some of the new features you'll be able to find soon.

• A brand new website

  The technology currently used for the website is interesting but does not fulfill our needs anymore. We've chosen an other way with new things and for that we need to completely rebuild the website.

• From the contracts to the mercato transfer window

  We are switching our way of thinking. Currently, the whole website relies and works based on the contract a player signs with a club. It was an interesting and innovative feature back then, but with time, thanks to all the feedback, we've realised it generated a lot of issues and above all prevented us from bringing some features because of its complexity.

  This is why we are switching back to a "classical" transfer window system. But not a basic and mainstream system, but rather an advanced one. Indeed, all the process will be fully automated so you can clearly and instantly see what you can do, your options and what you can't.

  Offseason and Mid-season transfer window will rythm the season. These mercatos are fully customizable by the local admins, allowing each platform and each community to set it up depending on their own specificities or preferences (maximum amount of players in a team, maximum departures authorized, transfer window duration, when it opens and when it closes, etc...).

• A more ergonomic tool

  New design, better navigation, merged sections, clearer features. It will be easier for you to get the information you're looking for not matter if it's about you or about an other player/club.

• Valorized clubs/players system

  We finally managed to implement an interesting system involving virtual currency. Everyone, players, clubs, will benefit from it and it is going to be the heart of our new system.

  Starting from now, everything will count : ingame performances, achievements, loyalty towards your club, participation. Your virtual carrer within the FVPAeSport will take a sense and impact your progression. The website will truely be the place for all of us no matter if you are a manager or a simple player. We're bringing the game to a next level. A dedicated news with in-depth explanations regarding the possibilities allowed by this new system will be done for the new website release.

• Loan system

  A longed-for feature based on members feedback and .. yes, you read it well. In addition to the traditional transfer, clubs will be able to send a player on loan to an other one for a specific amount of time. A new possibility that gives you a new option regarding the way to manage your club / player career.

• New modes, multigaming future.

  We will be able to extend our activity to other games with the idea of becoming a multigaming hub !

  The new website will enable this possibility but of course, we will need people to manage these new sections, such as PES 10V10, NBA2K ProAm, why not Spy Party too ! If you wish to collaborate with us in order to manage these new sections, feel free to contact us. As an example, we recently launched 1v1 section for PC/PS4 France.
